Bradbury Mountain State Park is a fantastic destination for a day or afternoon of outdoor adventure. Located on Route 9, halfway between Portland and Lewiston-Auburn, this park spans 800 acres of beautiful forested land. It's perfect for picnicking, hiking, camping, and enjoying the magnificent views from the summit or relaxing under a canopy of trees.

One of the standout features of Bradbury Mountain State Park is its shared-use trails, making it the only state park in southern Maine where horseback riders, mountain bikers, and snowmobilers can all enjoy the trails together. The Knight Woods Trail is an easy, wide trail with a slight grade, ideal for a leisurely ride or walk. For those looking for a bit more challenge, the Snowmobile Trail offers easy sections with some steep grades, providing a bit of variety in your journey. Along this trail, you'll encounter a 200-foot boardwalk, adding to the scenic beauty and charm of the park.

The Link Trail is another great option, offering a flat, wide, and easy path that's perfect for a relaxed ride or hike. Along this trail, you'll encounter several bridges.

Bradbury Mountain State Park is a year-round destination, welcoming visitors to explore its trails and natural beauty in every season. Whether you're riding horseback, biking, hiking, or simply enjoying a picnic, you'll find that this park offers a diverse and enriching outdoor experience. So come and explore the trails, take in the stunning views from the summit, and immerse yourself in the natural splendor of Bradbury Mountain.

Horse trailer parking is on the left after you go through the entrance booth. Lot is a large, paved loop with plenty of room for parking and navigating. Turns may be challenging for long rigs to navigate.
