9/20-21/2025: A fall ride through the West Gardiner trail system.

This ride is sponsored by Cathy Small (207-582- 2093). Riding out at 10:00 am and will be about 3-4 hours with lunch break out on the trail. Bring water for your horse. Remember your halter and lead lines and your saddlebag lunch. The terrain will be mostly trail with road crossing and possibly some dirt roads.
Permission from the land owner to have an overnight 2-day trail ride has been granted. If you are interested in camping for the night and riding on Sunday, can you send an email so we know you want to participate in camping. cathysmall757@gmail.com.
Directions: GPS – 57 Spears Corner Road, West Gardiner. From 295 and 95 Exits, head east towards Lewiston on Rt. #126. Go 3 miles to a yellow blinking light at Spears Corner. Turn right onto Spears Corner Road. Go 1/4 mile in and turn right into a driveway with a metal gate. Follow the MTRA signs.
Coming from Lewiston on Rt. 126, go past the Dennis Hill Road (the turn to go to the clubhouse) stay on Rt. 126 passing 126 Family Quick Stop and go over the Cobbossee Stream Bridge, this is the Litchfield/West Gardiner line, Horseshoe Pond will be on your right. When you come to the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Bog Hill Road (on your right) and Spears Corner Road (on your left) take the left onto the Spears Corner Road. Go 1/4 mile in and turn right into a driveway with a metal gate. Follow the MTRA signs.
